My Story
Hi, I'm Alex - a dog trainer based in Chesterfield and yes I have blonde hair and three mutts running the show.

My journey into the dog training world started with my Ned - a rescue from the streets of Bulgaria. What began as a good intentioned adoption quickly turned into a daily struggle. Ned was severely reactive to other dogs, people, livestock - you name it, he did not like it. Life with Ned was stressful, isolating and walks often ended in tears. We tried trainer after trainer, were told to avoid everything, use a head halti, medicate - and even consider euthanasia.

Everything changed when we met a balanced trainer. Within the first hour I started to see light at the end of the tunnel. We introduced Ned to an E-Collar and within six weeks, he was off lead, running free, being a dog and living the life he was made for. The reactivity? Gone. The frustration? Gone. For the first time I could breathe, and more importantly - so could he.

Since then I have committed myself to understanding dog behaviour, training methods and how to help other dogs like Ned. I understand the fear, the guilt and the sadness that comes with a dog like Ned - but I also know the feeling of freedom on the other side of it.

Balanced training saved our lives, and now I help others do the same - with clarity, compassion and honesty. Every dog deserves the chance to thrive, and every owner deserved the chance to enjoy the journey.

If your ready for your dog to live life to the fullest, your in the right place.
